Yes you need to check couple things the red power wire or the yellow power wire is touching something its not supposed to also check make sure the ground wire is tight

disconnect the parking brake safety. Its wired from your unit to the parking brake ground wire. Diconnect it and wire it right back to your radio ground and your picture will play while your driving. Happy crashing :)
I think you need a special adapter cable for the newer Ipods. Check with your local shop first to see what you would need then buy it on Ebay for much cheaper. Goodluck.
