Question about RIM BlackBerry 7100G Smartphone
Hello, i have a blackberry 7100.My bluetooth device is not working as it should.If someone wants to send me something, they always get that it's unable to connect.But if they are search for a device they can see my device.what can be seem the porblem.
Actually the BB must be set to recieve mode for the particular item you are trying to send to it.
In the case of the 7100 series I'm not sure of the exact menus, but in the 8XXX series it is always go to media select the media type press the BB key to bring up the menu and select recieve using bluetooth.
You should be able to recieve from any device that can be recognized both ways.
Also check the make sure your bluetooth security settings are set to "prompt" you when a device is trying to connect.

With all BB as long as it is not another smart phone or BB it will not recieve anything from it
