My cu400 started acting weird about 2 weeks ago - it seemed that the battery was discharging after only a few hours. I replaced with a brand new factory battery, fully charged but to no avail...the new battery discharged almost as quickly as the old one. I have also been having problems with local calls not connecting even when the battery is fully charged. any suggestions?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. goodluck!

Hi not heat but warm battery during charging is normal...but if discharges rapidly your battery may have reached the end of life..before buying a new battery pls make sure that your charger is ok...you can test it with another nokia with same charging plug..all the same on Nokia.. Hope this helps! Take care and please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up for me to continue for Helping out the Community :) Thanks
This is your battery problem.
Just do the step below hope it will solve a bit.
get fully discharge and let automatically switched off. then connect to charging but do not switched it on after showing full charge, disconnect charging and switched your phone on.
initially do dis 4-5 time a week. After that do 1-2 a week.
This will increase your battery strength.......
More than likely issue with phone or battery itself. Try another battery if you have one and see if it works. If you don't have an extra battery try to find someone who has a similar phone and try battery. If you call your service provider they will try to trouble shoot issue but more than likely will get you to send phone in through warranty if your still eligible. Not really much you can do. Sorry
Yes its normal. To maintain the most power adjust your brightness bar down to 1/4 or 1/2. Keep the push mail function off when you don't need it. Don't recharge the battery until the unit shuts itself off. Then recharge the battery to max before using. This is called conditioning the battery, even though many say you don't need to on lithum ion batteries because there is no memory effect. But their full of sh.t, cause you do the first time you get the battery and should do it once a month to extend the life of the battery.
perfectly normal. as the iphone is a super-powerful smartphone. also it depends on wich application you are using. 3d games, 3g wireless internet and the PUSH notifications, generally contribute to drain the battery's life. to enlarge you battery's duration i would recommend to disable the push notifications, or at least give them a longer refresh delay. also, it would help if you install a battery monitiring application and lock the phone immediatly after use. the drawback is that you wil hae to manually check you e-mails and other things that depends on the push notifications.
1. Maybe there's a virus.
2. Often restart can drain the battery.
Format it by pressing the green key or call key + no. 3 + asterisk(*) at the same time. But 1stly, turn off ur fone, then b4 the NOKIA logo appears, hold these following keys altogether. You will see the "Formatting" word afterwards..
