Question about Bush 2871NTX 28" TV

1 Answer

Annoying problem We have a 28" blue screen bush TV may be model AK19 or AK49 not sure. It is my fathers and he seems to have set up some sort of timer so the screen goes blue and a 5 minute counter comes on and then switches the set off. Happens every night about 10 25 pm He has lost the user manual and I have been through all of the differrent screens that i can access to find some way of shutting this off. Any ideas

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

HELLO

This seems to a be a growing problem! You have FIELD COLLAPSE. The frame/field output IC has failed and will have to be replaced.

If you are not competant with electronics then call in a service engineer to sort it!

ALL THE BEST (:-)

How can I get Freeview Channels?

I have a Bush 6690D and I can confirm that it does have a built-in digital decoder for terrestrial signals (Freeview).

Have you checked whether ***********'s TV is set to digital mode ? The "Mode" button on the remote cycles between analog, digital and AV inputs.

cold solder joint on the power supply or in the vert curcuit. If you know anything about the proceder to troubleshoot cold solder connections GO for it but if you dont and dont wanna cause any other problems with the set My advice would be to take it to a pro before any other problems arise if they already havent. Its not a major repair most of the time.
