Din witre cut need to know my power wire and ground is

Don't expect to do this quickly. With this guide it should be easier for you, but my trial and error took forever. I do things legit. Don't even think of using twist caps or silicone, unless you hate your car. You have subs, your car vibrates. Nothing less than solder and heat shrink will give you a timeless, solid connection. If you're not willing to do it right, just take it to a shop.

There is a black power cable with two leads for the power for the camera but I don't have in the instructions what to do with it

This is how to hook up the Pyle PLCM7300BT:
On the license plate camera, plug the black cable provided with 2-wires inside (one red and one black) to its counterpart on the camera. On the open end of this black cable, strip and connect the black wire to the car/truck metal body part.
Connect the red wire from the camera and the green wire from the monitor (part of the big black cable from the monitor) to the power wire to the back-up lamp socket.
Connect the Red wire from the monitor to a switched terminal on the fuse box so that it would only have power when you have the ignition key on.
The rest of the wiring is simple and common sense.
To operate, turn on the ignition of you car/truck and put it on reverse you should see the camera view. Put the car/truck on Park, the monitor screen should go back, if not, push the power button once.
To set up the blue tooth: Push the power button on the monitor so that you can see the blue screen and "no Input". Put your phone on discoverable mode and push scan for device. AT the same time push the "pair" button on the monitor.

I did all the figuring out on the bench using a 12 VDC power supplies and contact switches to make sure I understood how it worked. Once installed on my 1988 Suburban, it worked as expected.

The only problem I had to patch the long green wire (reverse car) so that it reached the back-up light socket.

Let me know if you still have problems. Email me at wayne.tan@wdc.com

My kvt-719dvd will not power up. I hit the reset button and nothing happens. When I take the faceplate off the red security light blinks....Just wired up a flip down and using the same power source as the...

take a digital volt meter and check powers and grounds

red ignition switched wire should read with car on and running 12.5 volts to 14.4
yellow constant power comming from battery should read at all time 12.5 to 14.4
black wire is ground and should be ground to the frame of car

lets take your radio ground and put your volt meter black lead on it and then put the red test lead to the read wire and if you have a good ground you get a reading of 12.5 to 14.4 if you car is running if ignition if on accesory it will read 12.5 do the same test to the yellow wire make sure you get a reading without the car on at all . this wire will have power on all the time hint(constant power) or (b+) if no reading on any wires you have a bad ground

let me know what you get for voltage to help you more

caraudioquestion@gmail.com

to get a good ground you need to scrap the paint off to bare metal and then us a stare washer and use a good stanless steal screw so dont rust for a good ground ..

Hi i have a problem with the memory on my ripspeed dv720 dvd player. it does not remember the radio stations i have tuned in after the car is switched off and back on again?

The constant 12v power and the standard 12v power are mixed, all you have to do is swap these wires around (usually red and yellow) they expect this problem and will have pre cut the wires so all you have to do is unplug the red wire and plug it into the yellow wire, and plug yellow into red, so you have 2 wire half red other half yellow, this goes for all head units.

Need a power plug for 17" tview flip down monitor

This is the best solution for your problem as a 40 year experience with wires etc. Go to the source of your cable signal connector . Open it and clean the terminals with emery paper , sand the end of the cable shiny clean from corrosion , get a new barrel connectors with gold terminals if possible lengthen the ends of the cable , insert and tighten good, use thick rg-16 or rg 40 cable with good insulation ends crimped professionally with a crimpier or buy ready made , not from dollar store. Get a gold plated professional splitter if you need one or two , it will cost about 15 or more each . Make the cable runs as short as possible, using the thick good cables. If needed get a signal magnifier. From radio shack or the source etc. Connect them good and tight . Ground the splitters . Problem solved , you will get crystal clear channel 2 to 7 including 3 and 4 . Isolate the TV cable from other cables and power wires. Vitally

Car TFT LCD monitor with only an s-video cable input??

A bit late on this! You will need a multi cable for the unit. It connects with the cable on the monitor and the other end has several terminals, usually like so.... NTSC video, audio, bat positive and battery negative. Could also be left and right audio.
