I think it is because

a) Internet Explorer memory is taking up too much space
b) Google Maps cache is taking up too much space
c) or the Volatile folder is taking up too much space...I have found three other people that say whack the contents of this folder....no naysayers just yet...

Why do callers keep getting the message "mailbox is full"?

Carriers (assuming cell phone or commercial vmail) or your local phone's answering machine restrict your voice mailbox to a certain storage amount. You have reached that maximum storage amount. You will need to delete old messages to open up space for more messages.

My phone says that the memory is full and it will not answer and take messages as it did before. How do I fix it?

Delete your old messages to free up memory space. See the manual if you don't know how to delete. There may be a "delete" or "erase" button on the phone's base unit.

Mailbox full message even after deleting all messages.

you will have to do a factory reset or bring it back to default settings, something is not set right in the software or the phone software is playing up, do a complete reset to factory default settings, follow your manual on how to do this

I keep getting a message saying not enough storage space. delete things to make room. but i have an sd card and i was wondering if i could move the majority of my stuff onto the sd card so i have more room...

your phone's memory is congested
try to remove unnecessary files one by one, dont try to delete them all immediately as itll cause your unit to run slow

you can also check if your unit has a master reset
bring it back the way it was before =]
