Re: Hook up the Wii
If you have the remote for the TV, it should have an input button on it that would change the video mode. If you have a universal remote, often the tv/vcr button will do that function on the newer model TVs.

Sanyo sets, especially the old ones are like this, if no button on set the only thing you might try is run one channel at a time below channel 2 to see if one of the upper channels is the video input, other than that you are done.
Universal remote alway work only the basic for the tv.Beyond that will have problems or stuck in some input or modes.Sorry i can't help u, because i don't know what is the reaction to ur tv by the universal remote, must use the universal remote again tries all the buttons like video modes or input botton.Or take the battery out like 20 mins of the universal remote to erase ur tv codes enter it again.Tries those buttons u pushes before, see if u can get out the video mode. All else fail.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote to use.
your setup is already good. your only problem is how to get in into video mode.
use the menu button on your tv then select for Video/Game mode using channel menu button. there should be a solid blue screen with the word Game or Video displayed. please try. let me know if this doesnt work.
Yippie, I figured out a solution that worked!!! I have a univeral remote from comcast, on that remote near the bottom left is a small button that says (input) tv/vcr, press that one time and whala!! the tv video screen was gone, I had to manually change the channel from the tv channel button on the unit. once I changed the channel to 3, my universal remote worked... the button is the second one from the bottom left... I was on hold with sanyo for a long time and just kept trying on my own, so good luck!!!!
