Question about Insignia 50 in. Flat-Panel Plasma HDTV
I have a 50 inch Insignia plasma tv. I want to select the aspect ratio labeled "horizon". (Pushes out the sides to fill the screen) This option is grayed out on my tv. Is there a setting I can change to allow this?
I don't exactly know your model. I can give you a generic type answer.
I can tell you that when you select to have the full screen, it may not work in the mode for the tuner. The reason is that the programs coming in from your tuner are actualy 4:3. When asking for a full screen you are asking for a 16:9 type format. This would stretch a 4:3 picture.
Have you tried contacting the manufacture, or if you know their local factory support place for your area?
