To my knowledge, the t730 only supports sd cards up to 1GB. It doesn't support any bigger cards, nor can it read SDHC cards, which use a different compression to 'regular' SD cards. Hope that helps even though it's not good news. At least there is probably nothing wrong with your t730, you'll just have to stick to older SD cards.
The first thing you can try is to clean the contacts where the card is inserted into the cam as dirt can cause problems. If it fails the next thing you need to do is to check if its a problem with the card. Windows has a built in error checking function that can check for errors and fix them if possible. If this fails too we need to determine if its a problem with the camera's card reader. To determine this get an external USB card reader(you can get one for as low as 4$) and see if its able to read the card. If it cant read the card as well then format the card and see if it resolves the issue. If everything fails then it may be a problem with the camera and you may have to send it for a repair. Its covered by a one year warranty so you can avail it if it has not already expired. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
maybe you zoom in a lot and then it would be normal and if the pictures come out fine, i wouldn't worry about it but if the print pics come out grainy and blurry i would take it back if you have warranty
