Question about IBM ThinkPad R52 Notebook
Hi i just installed a new hardrive on my ibm r52 and it was installed fine. I also installed windows xp pro but now that i did that i can't connect to the internet. It's almost as if it thinks the laptop is a desktop and does not have the icon in the bottom right corner to detect or connect to wireless networks that are around me. What do i need to do to fix this and connect to the internet?
Make sure that the WLAN adapter is installed properly. Click on the start button then right click My Computer icon, select properties, go to Hardware tab, click Device Manager button, click the + sign beside Network Adapters, check if you have your wireless adapter listed. If your adapter is not listed you need to reinstall the drivers for it.
