Kenmore 90 Series Electric Dryer will not run

Worked fine last use. Will not start now. Checked all of the obvious fuse/breaker, door shut, turned on, etc.

Dryer stopped working. Checked breaker, Ok. Took back panel off. Timer on main switch is clearing moving ( ticking). A sound is made when the start button is pushed, but nothing happens. At one time, when I left the switch on Wrinkle Guard, it just started running on its own. So, its somewhat intermittent. I hear clicking as I turn the main switch 360 deg, through all it's settings. It just doesn't seem to be getting power to the turning drum. Any suggestions/??? Stock # on back is 65914.

My dryer worked fine last use. Now it will not turn on. Can still hear timer ticking. Breaker is not tripped.

Listen very closely to the dryer right as your pushing start. Is there any sound at all.Listen very closely because its critical on making the diagnosis.

Started drying load, dryer shut off. won't turn on. checked door, changed thermal fuse, checked breaker. still doesn't work. light also not on.

If this is an electric dryer, you may have lost half of the power supply to it. Unplug and remove the little cover plate above where the power cord enters the dryer. Look at the 3 screws holding on the power cord for burned/black looking or loose connections. If nothing wrong there, shut off house breaker and remove cover on house plug where you plug the dryer into and look for same type of issues.

Kenmore Series 80 Dryer won't start after Circuit breaker was tripped

A breaker thrown that many times indicates a serious electrical problem. You need to have the problem taken care of by an electrician. You should be worried about the safety of yourself and your family.
That being said, I would guess that breaker has gone bad and needs to be replaced.

Dryer will not come on at all. working fine on last load

check house fuse/circuit breaker
door switch
if an electric dryer the thermal fuse as they are often wired into the motor run circuit
check for power to the motor in start and run circuit, if present motors spent.
if not present trace back to timer and verify timer is sending power, if not timers spent.
more likely circuit breaker, door switch or thermal fuse if electric dryer..
hope this helps,
best of luck,

Kenmore electric dryer series 90 model 66904691 will not start. Dryed a load of clothes went to start again will not do anything , checked fuse box, fuse not blown what could be the problem

Check the automatic door shut off switch and wiring. When the door closes it actuates a switch (completes and electrical circuit) which allows the dryer to operate.
