Tried to fix it myself, made a mistake, opened something, liquid came out...
My screen went blank, i thought i could fix it myself, so i opened it up, (the top half), and there are 3 parts, 3 different colors, I opened the part that is red colored threw a lens up, and a clear water like liquid came out, not a lot, but enough to raise concern. I sealed it back up, (after cleaning the liquid up), and called it a day. I was and still am VERY MAD at myself!!! MY question: It that fixable, and is it gonna cost a lot? I LOVE my tv, someone please help me!!!

hello AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning up screen slightly
often on that model the DCU which is on that same board is where the problem is especially if new ICs and resistors dont fix the Issue. The DCU is the metal cased unit which is next to the Convergence ICs heatsinks
Did you replace the convergence resistors along with the Ics? Also if you replaced the ics with open resistors you have most likely ruined the new ICs. You can get a convergence repair kit for your model at the following link which has the ICs and the resistors for your model, and they provide free tech support and instructions.

The loud pop was the $300 bulb exploding. Don't look for any help from Toshiba either. Their customer service stinks as bad as their product. Put the bulb in yourself and then sell to the next ****** that comes along. I made the mistake of keeping mine, because I thought that Toshiba was still a good product. Wrong, next the color wheel went out. It was back ordered forever. When I finally got one I installed it myself. So, it would only cost me the $530 price of the part with out the $400 charge for labor. Run as fast as you can. I now have vertical lines on the screen after 2 weeks. Who knows what's wrong now.
It sounds like you will have to replace the convergence IC's in this TV set. Not a really hard repair to do but you will need to know how to solder and work on solid state printed circuit boards. Good Luck
