Try this site. I have used Ghost Key Logger. Works well. Beware that spyware and antivirus programs WILL see this program and warn you about it.

How do I check to see if there is a key logger on my computer?

The best way to find key loggers in the system is by simply running a scan by 'Windows Defender'. Simply type Windows Defender in start menu and run the scan. The scan will find suspicious softwares and key loggers.
You can also easily check for key loggers in your system by using these two ways:

1) By checking the Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. For this, press 'Windows Key+R' > type 'control'. That will open control panel. Now go to Add/Remove Programs in Programs and Features.
Now, look for suspicious softwares or key loggers.

2) Open task manager by pressing 'CTRL+SHIFT+ESC' > Open 'Processes' tab. Search for programs that look suspicious. This method is needed in case of advanced key loggers like KGB, etc.

How to kill key logger malware?

MalwareBytes Anti-Malware is a good way to start. Download and install the free version. When you run the program it will want to update first thing. Let it update, then run a quick scan, which finds most malware. Let it fix whatever problems it finds and that should eliminate your logger. You can also run a full scan if you have any other worries, but don't be surprised if it takes a long time.

Okay I log on to a finacial web site, i know that some how someone is looking at the web pages I look at, cos they post them on the blog site, I have firewall etc, however, when I logged in recently a shed...

I would stop using your computer for sensitive transactions immediately. Back up your data, then reinstall the operating system. You could have a virus and/or a keystroke logger sending your data elsewhere. Using a secure computer, change all your online passwords.
In the future, if you want to be really sure you're not being 'watched' on your computer while using the Internet, download and burn a Linux 'live' CD like knoppix that can run from the CDROM (without disrupting your Windows/Mac operating system) and doesn't save any state between runs (like viruses, keystroke loggers, etc..). Try and engage in safe browsing habits, like don't download suspicious software, screen savers, etc... as they can often contain spyware and so on.

BOOT MGR MISSING!!

if a friend has the xp cd, ask to use it, USE YOUR KEY CODE LOCATED ON A RAINBOW STICKER...usually on bottom of laptops, and back of pc desktops, this is your best bet, make sure your operating system is the one you both are using, ie...xp home edition on your puter, if your friend has professional, your key code wont work....make sure you both use home...or professional...sticker will tell you what your running.....a boot isk pretty much is obsolete with xp, windows 98 used em, me..as well....up to windows 2000, cd needed, downloaded the file really wont do it...i have never had sucess doing it....you can also contact the puter company and like $20.00 they should be able to send you the factory default restore/recovery disks, i am doing that with a friends toshiba now...waiting for the disks...that will be a way better thing tho, you'll have all info and drivers and os for it......good luck...shia
