Have you gone into your setup menu on the satellite and changed any display settings? My 60" HDTV was doing similar things and i was not able to use picture format on my controller to get fom zoom to wide screen, and so on. I had to go into my dish menu and go to setup then video and adjust some settings to display the TV resolution ratio. I was not in the HDMI connection menu when the new TV was origianlly installed to my DIsh. Also had to do same thing on my PS3 under settings and video output resolution.
Your Projector has a composite video input and so long as your receiver has composite out on it, they will work very nicely together. All you will need is a screened lead with a phono plug on each end. Hope that helps.
This is a fairly common problem with this model. In most
instances, it is just "slow" in sensing the presence of a video source
as it cycles in its selection, internal DVD, VGA, Composite Video IN.
Since it does not have a manual source selection, your only option is
to really wait.
Verify that "Auto Source Select" is enabled in
the Management Menu (buttons-Proj/Setup then >/9) and "tap" the
"SRC" button on the projector itself to manually initiate the
Verify that you have done the
connections correctly. Yellow RCA connector is the video while the red
& white are the audio. Of course the Video input should be
connected to the Video output, same goes for the audio. Please refer to
pages 22 & 23 of the user's manual for more detailed instructions
as well as illustrations.
A couple of things to consider: it is not HDTV capable and pls don't loose the remote.
If the unit will not select a source after some time (minutes), perhaps your best bet would be to seek replacement.
Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
