Stuck on reset and C3 flashing

My dishwasher is stuck on reset and C3 keeps flashing. When I open the latch/door, stops flashing and beeps continually. Any help would be appreciated. Built-in GE Profile Model # GSB9939VF128 (prob 9-10 yrs old).
