Question about Panasonic Printers & Copiers

1 Answer

Our Panasonic DP-4510 says "Replace the Toner Waste Container." However, we cannot find where to do that -- and the machine's manual makes no mention of it!

If the front panel is rear side of uou. Then Right_bottom side serfface have the waste bottol; if you open the flexiable cover. You found a plastic bottol, no electronics attech with it. You pulled it out; empty it out side the room/office. Then fix it back their location. Maight be some model have counter inside softwere. in that case reset the counter by softwere.

The screen on my Phaser 6110 MFP says "Remove/Install Waste toner tank." I don't know what that is.

The life of the waste toner container unit is approximately 1,250 pages

for full color 5% image printing or 5,000 images for black printing. When

the life span of the waste toner container has expired, Replace/Install

Waste Toner Tank appears on the display of the control panel,

indicating the waste toner container needs to be replaced. Otherwise

your printer stops printing.

To replace the waste toner container:

1 Turn the machine off, then wait a few minutes for the machine to

cool.

2 Open the front cover.

3 Pull the waste toner container out of the machine using its handle.

4 Remove the container's cap from the container as shown below,

and use it to close the waste toner container opening.

5 Take a new waste toner container out of its package.

Tip

Make sure that you lay the waste toner container on a flat

surface so that the toner does not spill.

Caution

Do not tilt or turn the tank over.

6 Insert the new container into position and then push it to make sure

that it is firmly seated in place.

7 Close the front cover firmly.

8 Turn the machine on.

Caution

If the front cover is not completely closed, the machine will not

operate.

Tip

After rebooting, your machine will automatically reset the
counter for the waste toner container

Panasonic DP C-354 says to change toner waste container, where is that located on the machine so I can replace it?

open the front cover, the black box at the base of the cavity is the waste container. it will need to be exchanged but if you don't have one handy, it can be emptied. it is a messy job and most importantly, at the base of the container at the back is a small transparent piece of perspex. that will need to be clean inside and out. any toner remaining in there will trigger the "replace" instruction.

PANASONIC DP8020E COPIER MACHINE PROBLEM

it means that the developing unit connector is not connected. you can find it near the location of the toner waste container. there will find one screw lock for the cover of developer harness. possibly one of the wires of the developing unit is open. you can solve it by just twisting or untwisting that wire; not need to replace just twist it or untwist it. :)
