Question about SanDisk 2GB Cruzer Micro SDCZ62048A10 Hard Drive

1 Answer

I thought I deleted everything off the SanDisk 2GB Cruzer, but it shows that there is 500mb of SanDisk programs on it. I want to delete them--what are the files I need to keep? Does the disk need defraging?

Ahem...I'd be sure that those are not in fact, system restore files from San Disk..otherwise, you may wind up with a piece of digital junk...

My sandisk cruzer flash drive is showing its properties as 0gb. so pl help me to get the recovery tool

Try recovering the lost or deleted date with a recovery program (recovermyfiles is one program). If this doesn't work, then you should reformat the drive, and then try the recovery software again. Keep me posted.

Erase Data?

If you goto My computer and click on the Appropriate Letter for your flash Drive you can then Right click on it and go to "FORMAT" and then from there click Ok or Next. This will erase all data on the flash drive. You can also physically open the drive in my computer and select everything by pressing CTRL and A at the same time and then pressing the DELETE key on your keyboard, either one works fine and will delete the data off of a flash drive. Hope my answer gets you closer to a solution. Please Help rate me if I helped you out or not I am new but a very good tech.

Erasing or deleting stored materials

When you plug it in to your USB port, it should be assigned the next available drive letter that is not taken by a physical drive (your primary hard drive or another USB drive). Then you can browse the drive through Windows Explorer.
