APN updater keeps poping up on my screen

This is an updater for the Ask Toolbar.

You can try to uninstall the Ask toolbar. Try uninstalling it with Revo Uninstaller. Revo first uses the APN's own uninstaller. Then, depending upon what radio button you have ticked, it can also pursue registry settings associated with APN that the primary uninstaller missed. You can manually select or unselect any that you want to remove or keep. The updater is a persistent thing that may reappear afterwards unless you clean out sufficient settings. You see, if the updater changed settings in your browser, simply uninstalled the toolbar is insufficient. So, below are instructions which may pertain to your specific browser.

You can try the manual uninstall directions on this page:

Tip

OPERATING SYSTEM

Access My Documents from the Taskbar (XP and Vista)

Right-click an empty section of the Taskbar and select toolbars, then New Toolbar. Navigate to the My Documents (XP) or Documents (Vista) folder and click the OK or Select Folder button. In its default position to the far right of the Taskbar, the toolbar provides menu access to the entire contents of the folder.

How to close ask tool bar i want to use fire fox

there is usually an "x" somewhere in the dropdown list if you click the down arrow.

However I would suggest that you uninstall all extra toolbars and search engines because they only gather your personal information to give you same through your E-Mail, Pop-up, or Pop-under adds and slow down your computer drasticly

My computer is very slow why

You might have to many programs trying to or accessing your computer or the internet at the same time or a virus
Scroll to bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click select task manager applications and processes to see you whats running and ticking over
if you see anything you dont need running select end now and you might uninstall that specific
program if you or computer does not require it to run and
some unnecessary programs that could be jamming up your computer
also under processes see what is ticking over in the background again if you see something you
dont need to be running select end now and users you will see who is using your computer

Auto fill not working

I just fixed it by first disabling googles updater (editing the "hosts" file - found out how using Google!). Then I uninstalled Google Toolbar and reinstalled the previous version of Google Toolbar. Now I have my AutoFill back! If you don't have a previous version before the update, you should be able to find a download of a previous one online somewhere.
