We like the sound quality and functions so we have put up with the low battery life problem.
I have bought aftermarket AA rechargable batteries. I taped them together, + and - at top, then I soldered a wire from + to -.
I inserted them into battery compartment and used a piece of foam to apply pressure to contacts.
Recharge fully.
Now the phone will last a day or two off the charger.
I think these phones are high power transmitting and so use alot of power.

My phone won't charge anymore either. The light just flashes very rapidly. It was reading "Needs recharging" but that isn't there anymore either. I've unpluged and repluged, but that hasn't helped. What to do?
My phone does not hold a charge for very long (about 30 seconds). I have replaced the battery but that has not resolved the problem. The green charge light blink on and off when the phone is supposed to be charging.
