I dropped my Sony Cyber-Shot

I have a sony cyber-shot DSC-T10 which I dropped in water. I removed the battery and the memory card as soon as I did it. I let the camera dry out for a few days. When I turned it on it works but the pictures look like they are on soft focus. Can it be fixed?

How do you export images from the Sony Cyber-shot haRD DRIVE TO THE COMPUTER

Its quite easy just remove the Memory card from the Cyber shot

put it into the card reader and connect with your PC and simply copy and paste the images from card to PC.

You can also connect the Cyber shot directly to the PC using the USB data cable given with the Camera. When you do this a new drive will appear in My Computer now just copy the images from that new drive to anywhere in PC

Connecting Sony Cyber shot DSC-T10 to computer and using it as webcam with USB

The webcam and the Sony Cyber-shot are two completely different designs. The webcam takes live moving pictures without limitation, the Cyber-shot can not deal with that kind of use it has limited capability which prevents it from being used in that kind of fashion.

Try switching the camera off, remove memory card and then re-insert and switch on again, did the trick for me - although of course does indicate there is an access problem!

I have lost my battery cover for my Sony Cybershot DSC-T10. IF your camera is water damaged and you want to sell it. Let me know, I could use the battery cover that slides and "clicks" into place.

Error code E:62:20 meaning

This appears to be a problem with a connector inside the camera. Try:
  • Take the memory card out, clean the bay and the memory card with compressed air
  • Take the battery out, clean it and the battery compartment with compressed air.
  • Some users report that you can 'fix' the problem by tapping it gently on the battery compartment, so that may be worth trying as well.
If these things don't work, it will have to taken to a service technician - it's quite expensive to repair, sadly.

Good luck!

Sony cyber-shot DSC-S500

If you open the camera up, whick I know is an intricate task, and take the screen down but don't unplug it, at the right bottom their is something that resembles a watch battery, if you can figure out how to get it off and find a replacement it will be fixed... This battery serves a a sort of memory power, even though you have batteries, this battery keeps the memory for the camera's software, so inturn without it the camera is dead in the water. this is fixable!
