I gessing that by tuck it in you are talking about the connector under the key broad. There is a small clip no the bottom side of the connector that has to be up when you put the new one in. This can be open with a small flat head scerw driver. Once that is opened I have found the easiest way to get the ribbon in is to lay down the screen where it is sapose to go. Then line up the ribbin with the connector then run your finger down the ribbon torward the connector. Do this till the ribbion lays flat, then push the clip on the connector down and put your phone back togther. I hope this helps you with fixing your phone, and if this is not what you are posting about please post more details and i will try to help you.

Broken iphone screen

There WAS A YOUTUBE video on how to do this as I bought an iPhone off ebay with cracked front and back. I was able to replace the back because that was fairly simple, but the parts are very small and you need a special tool to even take it apart. Replacing the front didn't look so easy. You pretty much have to take the phone apart which would be the easy part, but you'd have to remember what cables plugged in where and what screws of different sizes went where. You're better off taking it to a place that does this repair often!

Can i fix my lg290c slider phone, the tape thing inside broke?

Yes this is fixable, but in most cases not by the owner as it takes special tools to take the phone apart to replace the part. This is best left to a cell phone retailers service personnel, cost about $50.00 on average to repair the flex conductor ribbon..

Can you adjust the volume at which your callers hear you?

Hi no im afraid you cant do this the only way they can hear you louder is to turn the volume up on their phone, their is no setting you can change on yours to change the volume they hear you so it would be the settings on their phone that needs changing.

how ever if they can hear everybody else perfectly and its just your phone they cant hear then this would point to the fact that your mic on your phone is faulty or got wet and this is causing your voice to seem really quiet apart from that being at fault their is nothing you can do or change.

try ringing a few people and ask them if they can hear you properly if they can then its your friends phone thats at fault but if they all say they cant hear you then this would suggest your mic needs replacing and this would need to be done at a phone shop as it requires special tools to get the phone apart and replace the part that needs replacing.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

I cracked my screen and i have another phone with a good screen that wont charge and i want to take out the good screen and put it in my phone. I would like some instruction on how to go about doing this....

It's pretty easy, but you need special tools usually, you need a mini Torx driver for a start. There are screws in the battery compartment to be undone, then the phone sort of clips apart, you use a special plastic thin egged tool that slides in between the case halves and gently twist and they snap open... If you look on eBay you will see screen replacement set's, that often come with the tools to do the job, have a look at those to know what you need. After the phone is apart, it all simply clipping cables into sockets etc. It all just very fiddly, and be delicate.

How do i replace my screen?

you will have to take the phone completely apart, and you will most likely need special tools to open it. unscrew all screws you find, there could be hidden screws under soft objects and labels.

ones you have the screws out the case should snap open from the corner, with the help of a flat screwdriver.

ones you have the case apart, you will need to unscrew and disconnect the display. then replace it with a new display, and put everything back together.

all you need are the tools, maybe some special screwdrivers etc and you can do it.

Replaced the screen but there is no image coming up, just a lit up black screen.

if you could see any image from the broken lcd before changing it so your new lcd is not working or no installed right
and if not you may try the cable or the hard shock that broke your lcd effected the main board

I just bought an I9 from a private dealer Screen is not working

if its still under warranty you need to send it back. this phone is completely useless if the screen breaks. they offer repalcement screens for about 25 bucks, but you have to tear the phone apart and solder in 4 points onto the new touch screen. i broke my touch screen and after seeing who tiny of an area there was to solder on i gave up and bought a new one.
