Question about Sony PFM-42B1 42 in. HD-Ready Plasma Television
I'm trying to get an older Sony PFM-42B1 going as a computer monitor. When I hook any computer monitor up to it the picture is very very wavy, text is unreadable. The monitor's menus seem to display well over the wavyness, however, when there is nothing plugged into at all, there are random vertical red lines flashing over the screen here and there, which also appear when the wavyness is happening.
I tried different computer, different cables, different resolutions and modes, the problem is move severe at lower resolutions, but is there on all of them.
There is one on ebay with the same problem, I was hoping it was common with a known solution.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
