Unfortunatly you do have dead pixels, but you cant fix them. Lots of lcd displays have them, some are more noticable than others, it dosent mean your lcd monitor is going to fail soon or anything like that, even brand new lcd monitors have dead pixels it is a comman anoying problem with them.

Tiny black spot lcd

Erika, Do you mean you have a black spot on the LCD of your camera?
We call that a dead pixel. Can be black and can be white. Most LCD's sooner or later have a one or more dead pixel(s). As long as they are not in the centre of the screen you won't notice them. Even dead pixels on the camera sensor can happen. These you won't see at all, because the software does calculate what that pixel would look like in that specific shot. And the software will place a correct colour on that spot.
Try to live with the dead pixel(s). you won't see them on the actual pictures. Not on the computer to tablet and not on a print.

My tv screen has a black spot

HI,
Are you sure that there is balck dot on the sreen. Check one more time is it any dust on the screen.
Black spot Means pixel of the Lcd sreen is fault. There are thousands of pixels in an lcd screen. when any of the pixel or a group of pixels become faulty the black spot will appear. Its not possile to rectify the problem other than replacing the LCD panle if its avilable. The avilability of lcd screen is very rare.

What does it mean by dead cells?

I assume this is related to your LCD monitor.
I think you mean dead pixels. The LCD monitor has tiny pixel elements, one for each red, blue, green color and each one of these colored pixels are turnes on by a transistor. When a transistor fails then the colored pixel it controls does not light up. This is a dead pixel and it shows up as a tiny black dot.
If the screen displays a blue screen, a dead blue pixel will appear as a tiny black dot in the blue screen.
You normally would not notice a few dead pixels unless they are grouped together.

Dead pixel

Dead pixels cannot be fixed, each pixel is controlled by a transistor that is part of the LCD screen. If it is bad, the only option is to replace the LCD screen.

Yes i have a black dot on my new 2008 toshiba notebook.Do you know how to fix it.

If it is just one pixel that is black, you cannot do anything about it. It is what we call a "dead pixel". The best thing to do is to send it back in to the manufacturer and get a free replacement.

It's not the answer you wanted to hear, but again, there is nothing you can do about it.

Blackspot on screen

is it a tiny black dot? about one pixel? That is whats referred to as a dead pixel it happens on LCD nothing can be done of it but to replace the LCD screen. Usually you can just bare with it and wait til there are a few dead pixels before worrying about it.

Satellite m35x-s161 non conforming pixels

well, red dot could be a number of things... if they are on the screen at all time they could be stuck or dead pixels which is a probelm in the LCD screen itself. Try these instructions:

Make sure your video driver is updated. If you have the 855GME display adpapter you can find the most recent driver update here: http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/support/downloads/sm35xinvidx.exe
