If any wires are visable, a replacement keypad can be reconnected - and should work.
Chances are though that they are damaged, so the safe will need to be drilled to open it .
Seek the assistance of your local locksmith.

As a locksmith myself - I prefer mechanical locks!

Boot up in Safe Mode and see if you can use the touchpad. It might have been hijacked by a virus or infection.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Take the Safe Mode With Networking option (this will give you internet connectivity) and let it boot up. Safe Mode will look different to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this is normal. If the cursor and touch pad seems to be ok open your internet browser to download and install MalwareBytes and run a Quick Scan.

Sounds like a virus or infection might have hijacked the keyboard or you have some settings issues. Try booting up into safemode and see if the keyboard works then download and install MalwareBytes and run a Quick Scan.

Download and install MalwareBytes and run a Quick Scan.

If the issues still exist, try the steps below.

Sony vaio no cursor and key board not working

Did you spill a liquid on the keyboard? Try booting in safe mode and see if the keyboard works.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Take the Safe Mode option and let it boot up. Safe Mode will look different to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this is normal.

If the keyboard works in safe mode then maybe a virus or infection has hijacked the keyboard. Reboot as if you are going into safe mode, but this time select Safe Mode With Networking (this will give you internet connectivity). When it boots up open your internet browser and download and install MalwareBytes and run a Quick Scan.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download and install malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. Laptop cursor and pointer out of control (jumps when I type) and pointer gets stuck . How do I fix it ? Acer espire 5349 series

Make sure you don't have the mouse pad locked. Normally there is a button at the top in the middle of the mouse pad that locks or unlocks it. Some models will have you to tap twice in the upper left corner of the touch pad to toggle it from locked to unlocked. Other will have you to Press and Hold the Alt Key or the FN function key located at the lower left portion of the keyboard then hit the key that toggles the touchpad. The key that toggles the touchpad will have the icon of a finger pointing at a square which represents the touchpad.

My cursur is not moving, how do i fix it

Does the mouse pointer move? Does the mouse work? Does the Keyboard work?

The cursor moves on keystrokes from the keyboard or from taking the mouse and pointing it and clicking in a text area.

make sure you have not turned the touchpad off. Some laptops will have a button that is located in the middle of the touchpad at the top of the touchpad that toggles the mouse pointer on and off.

Some laptops will have a set of keystrokes that toggles the touchpad on or off. Normally you will have to Press and Hold either the Alt or FN key then hit the corresponding key that controls the touchpad. Most times the correct key to hit will have the icon of a finger pointing at a square box that represents the touchpad.

You may have been hijacked by a virus or infection. Boot up in Safe Mode and see if it works.

My touchpad is not working for click(touch) operation. I feel that this started happening after plug in a USB mouse

When you plug in a USB mouse, the touchpad is usually automatically disabled. Look in your control panel under Mouse or Pointing devices. You will want to look at the settings to ensure that your touchpad turns back on after you unplug the mouse. If your touchpad is NOT returning to normal functionality after you unplug the mouse, try the "safely remove hardware" option (If you have windows). Look in the lower right corner of your screen. If you have a small green arrow icon that safes "safely remove hardware" when you put the mouse pointer over it, click on it. If the mouse shows up in the list, highlight it, and click Stop. You can then remove the mouse when Windows tells you it's safe to do so. This may then return full functionality of the touchpad. In some cases, the mousepad click functionality will be disabled if a USB mouse is plugged in. It can remain so if the system doesn't fully acknowledge that the mouse has been removed. That's why I'm suggesting to try the "Safely Remove Hardware" option first. If that doesn't work, there may be a physical problem with your touchpad and it will need to be serviced.
