Hi,
The pins just push out...they are hard to get too and push hard...a screw driver and a hammer are what I used...
Get them started and then a pump pliers on the other end and you can pull them the rest of the way out...

Bad vibration when washer is spinning.

If the washer is vibrating, it's not sitting solidly on the floor. Move it until it sits solidly. If needed, adjust the leveling legs. It might also vibrate if the shipping blocks and bolts weren't removed when the washer was installed, or the wash load isn't distributed evenly.
If all this looks good, check the shock absorber to see if one has broken.

Front load washer has an issue with jerking and jumping off the floor during the cycle. Need a way to subdue the washer's instability. Can't even use it as it bashes into the walls!

Remove the lower front cover. There are two shock absorbers that mount to the basket and then to the bottom frame of the chassis. They run diagonally from bottom out to top in. They need to be replaced as one or both are likely broken. If I recall correctly, they run about $15. to $20. tops for the pair (replace both). Pretty simple job.

Not balanced is why you are still getting the "knocking" sound. Use a level when you install the shock absorbers. And that should fix the problem. :-)

My frididaire front load washer is making a loud knocking sound as it goes through the cycle. Also the metal "basket" in which the clothing is places seems to be "off its track" and loose. i can move it...

It sounds like the shocks for the drum are broken. The shocks absorb the wobbling of the drum due to unbalanced loads, etc. Remove the lower front panel (with machine unplugged) and look towards the back on each side and see if you see broken or hanging shocks. The panel has 2 screws I think and should come right off.
Also, if you can open the door and lifting up on the drum inside the machine and moving it around and hear a clunking sound, the drum bearings may be bad. Give that a try and see what you find.

My front loading washer will not give a high speed spin out. It shuts off at the 7 minute mark

There are two things you can look at that are common problems for this type of model. One is on older Frigidaire front loaders the shock absorbers tended to break, you can remove the front panel and view both shocks, look for a end of the shock broke off. Second is check the trap for the water pump, have a towel for the water. The replacement shocks are better........and most front loaders will not spin if the pressure switch is not open(water pumped out) The remaining problems are electrical, reconnect your connectors on the electrical harness and board or timer, figure out tech sheet or call the service company......(unplug when doing any service)
hope this help

An extreme vibration in spin cycle. It makes the

Because front load washers are VERY HEAVY, they shake if you have a wooden floor. If your front loader sits on concrete and it still shakes, then you have to make sure all is balanced. If it still shakes, then inside the system there are shock absorbers that need to be checked.

The washer drum is hitting in the spin cycle.

When you take off the back panel, check to see if both shock absorbers are intact. We were having some problems with our (ATF6000E) Frigidaire front-loader recently too. I noticed that one of the shock absorbers was broken, for about $25 I got a replacement (two of them, I couldn't find just one). It took about 15 minutes to replace. No problems. With mine, though, I think because the drum was moving around, it dislodged some wires which made it stop filling up with water after a few seconds. I did a test and it said E5E. I would check to replace your shock absorbers before doing any more laundry so your machine will still work and not have other problems like mine.

If you access the bottom panel you can see the shocks mounted from the base of the machine to the tub. you will need to take the top panel off and you can see the springs the are mounted about 1/2 way in at the top and connect to the to off the tub

Frigidaire Gallery Model FWT449GF Tub issue

level and balance is very important for all machines. make sure it is firmly seated on floor and shipping bolts pins and brackets are removed (some have brackets inside.) the machine should be able to evenly distribute the load. finally the shock absorbers could be bad. (seems rare on frigidaire)
