You may be running a version of Windows not supported by the CD - go to RCA's website to get the updated version of the software

My EasyRip program does not pick up my M4303 media player. it says connect player when i put the mouse over the button to load the vidoes. I can load audio through widows explorer, but video has to go...

You can load 'suitable' Video files (MPEG4/WMV/AVI) via Internet Explorer in the same manner as for your Audio files but in the appropriate folder(s) on your Player.
If you cannot use EasyRip, there are other 'Video Converters' that could be used to convert your Video fles to your Player supported format.
You can determine what is a 'suitable' video (or Audio for that matter) format by using Windows Explorer 'Properties' for a known files on your player.

RCA EasyRip Program won't install

I know that sometimes certain USB ports don't give the information that the installer is looking for. Try a different USB port on the PC and see if that works. Make sure you have the latest version of easyRip from:

http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2253

(AND make sure the device is in MSC mode)
