Question about Dryers
Bought a brand new dryer last night. It is hooked up and seems fine except when I push the start button, it does nothing but a beep. All the lights work and I set all the different configurations, but it still does not start. The door switch seems to be working. If I open the door, the panel lights indicated standby.

We had to push the door very hard (like with our knee) to get the door to latch so the dryer would work. I'm sure its a mfg defect and they should be recalled.

Sounds like its blown a thermal fuse. Its under warranty if you just bought it.You need to set up a repair while you have warranty.
