Make sure you don't have installed Windows 8.1
There is some compatible issue like as you are facing now...!
your system will give you better performance on Windows 7
Hi,
It does not have any Windows 7 drivers on the HP page so some parts may not function. Windows 7 usually discovers and installs most of the drivers automatically however you cannot be quaranteed that everything will run smoothly.
You can check your system with the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.
Download it from here: Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor
i have a Compaq nc6320 when i plug in the power cord the electricity led doesn't want to turn on i have changed the cords and the adapters and i doesn't power on or even charge the battery, did any one have an idea what to do in this problem?
Hello,
it seems that its a not a problem with your hard disk at it load on to the windows succesfully. Chances are any one of these :-
1. Some one might have changed the user name or password.
2. The file that holds the password might be corrupted.
3.If you are using a network based login, ask your administrator for assistance.
The better solution is to Repair install or Re-Install the operating system...
( U might Lose your Data while doing it but not all the time)
Stephane,
I ran into the same problem after wiping out my Compaq nc6320 and trying to install XP Pro. The fix is to disable SATA Native mode. To do this:
Enter F10 Setup then System Configuration>Device Configurations>SATA Native Mode and disable it, save the changes and now you should be able to install XP Pro. Remember, when I did this the drive was blank, I don't know if that makes a difference or not.
Best of luck!
Bryan
P.S.
