I would like to share this simple trick with you. It works for canon printers, epson. When the message "waste ink absorber is full" is displayed, the feed button blinks repeatedly. Press and hold the button for a minute then while still holding, detach the power cord from the printer or manually put off the printer, if the message is "waste ink absorber near full", press the feed button and it will resume printing. If the problem will still persist, bring your canon printer to the canon dealer and have your printer settings reset. 'hope this helped.

Informatiom on error E 8

E 8 is telling you that the ink absorber is nearly full. When it becomes full you won't be able to print at all. The ink absorber is a pad underneath the print engine that covers the whole bottom of the printer. Best changed by a Canon repair shop as it's a messy job and requires access to service mode to reset the counter after changing.

I have a CANON PIXMA IP3300 printer. When i power the printer it warning "the in absrorer is full"

If it says nearly full, you can make a few more prints, if it's full it will shut down until the ink absorbers are replaced and the counter reset by a shop.

Pixma ip1880 ink absorber is full pls tell how to fix

Turn off the printer and take some soft absorbent tissues and fold it into a pad.
Lift the cover to expose the ink cartridges and place this pad over the ink absorber on the LHS of the printer so the pad soaks up the wet ink.
Repeat until the absorber is nearly dry.
