Replace the fuser, it's not reaching operating temperature within a set time (normally a thermister or the lamp is shot)

'Engine Fuser low Heat Error' is showing, where and what is the fuser?

The fuser is a cylinder usually covered with a non-stick (Teflon-like, usually black) surface. Inside, it has a light bulb that heats the fuser's surface to a predefinde temperature. During the printing process, the drum (also a cylinder, usually with a metallic color) lays the toner on the paper sheet, then the fuser is rolling over the paper and is melting the toner so it is fixed on the paper.
The message means that the temperature read by the temperature sensor is too low, so the printer will not be able to melt the toner.
This may be caused by the following problems:
a) the bulb (lamp) inside the fuser is burned;
b) the power supply of the fuser is defective;
c) the temperature sensor is covered with toner residues.

If you do have some intermediate technical skills you can:
- for a): replace the fuser lamp
- for b): consult the service manual and repair the power supply
- for c): locate the temperature sensor (it's like a metallic pill, about 1.5 cm - 1/2 inch diameter and has 2 pins or contacts), carefully lift it from the fuser drum then wash it with white spirit. Be careful not to spill the spirit inside the printer and not to touch the other parts, especially the forosensitive drum.

You can tell if your problem is c) if you power on the printer, wait for the message to appear, then open your printer's covers and locate the fuser. If it's hot, then tfe problem is c). If it's not, the problem is a) or b).

Have an OKI Printing Solution C5800 color printer received the following error message: Check Toner cartridge 543K Toner Sensor error - have already changed the Drum and the toner. The error will not go...

Found this at Fixyourownprinter.com

1. Turn machine on while pushing and holding the TWO up/down menu buttons at same time.
2. Menu window will show "OKI USER"
3. Scroll to " Engine Dialog Mode" is indicated. Push Enter button.
4. "Diagnostic Mode xx.xx.xx S-Mode is indicated.
5. Scroll to "NV-Ram initial" is indicated. Push ENTER.
6. Window shows "NV-Ram- Initial Table 1".
7. Push ONLINE and ENTER Buttons simultaneously and HOLD for 10 seconds after you see "Executing Reset" appear in menu window.
8. Restart printer.

All toner, drum, fuser and transfer figures return to 100%.

Worked for me when I had the same error. Hope it helps.

I have just replaced cartridges and am now getting fuser low heat error.

Yes, either the lamp in the fuser is burnt, the thermistor (heat sensor) on the fuser is burnt, or the low voltage power supply is not providing enough voltage to the fuser lamp. Your safest bet is to replace the fuser.

BUT!!!! The printer itself is let than $150 new with warranty, so if you like this printer I would buy a new one. A fuser will be between $90 and $150 and could be difficult to replace. If you get a service person to replace it you could expect two hours of labour at least which will be about the price of a new printer.

Poor print quality like toner low, but toner quanity is fine.

this sounds to me like it could possibly be stemming from the fuser, this is quite common on fuser that use a thin film belt for the heat roller...

Engine Fuser Low Heat Error

Basically the error message is telling you the printer cannot keep the fuser temperature at the proper temperature (too low). It could be a lot of things but typically it is due to a fuser assembly gone bad.

Fuser Error 50.1 Fuser is hot. What is a fuser?

I think the fuser is in your **** part. This problem can be corrected by sitting in a tub of salt water. Make sure the printer is plugged in and is powered on. Is the display lit? If it is place the printer in the tub of water you are sitting in. You sould now be able to realize nobody cares and it no longer matters
