If paper stops just before entering the fuser (heat rollers), chances are they are not turning. You may have a broken gear or a drive clutch that is slipping badly. Usually those clutches need to be replaced by a technician.

How do I fix Toshiba E-studio 355. When I do the printing the toner dose not hold/stack on the paper, It can be wipe with your Hand. Is it the problem with the fusser?

In general on all machines, after the image is laid down, the toner on paper is run through a heated roller assembly called the fuser. This is normally a heater inside a hollow aluminum roller. As the paper exits the machine it should be warm to the touch. It is most likely your heater is bad.

Tip

After you fix a printer always clean your printer

I change a power supply for my Samsung printer and I put all back and this was giving me a problem jamming paper after this one got out the fuser unit going to the stacking area.
What happen is because before I had a problem with paper jam and this left residous of toner in the roller heat and that was teh reason my paper came out bend or some times stick on the roller.
I clean the roller and clean all i can. After this the printer work like a new one.
Always a good 100% clean after fix things are good too.

2. clean separation pad at the bottom of the paper tray
3. clean rollers located after the pick up area(registration rollers)
4. check actuators for the sensors to see if they are sticking

Hello My machine is Canon iR2016 and i have problem with Paper Jam. I have problem when I copying more then one copy and i got a problem sometimes in the first 10 copys, sometime at 20th copy... Error...

Hello,
so, first, did you clean the vertical path roller? ( its a axis with two rollers beneath the paper registration sensor )
Second, when you open left cover, and paper guide plastic cover ( black ) there is also sensor flapper, that can be a quite of pain because slow reaction of spring on it. Apply wd40 on its spring and in left corner where he lays into bushing. To check flapper response, manually close the paper guide plastic, the sensor must be in middle position.
Also it can be the problem in paper pick up clutch and it needs to be cleaned or replaced.
But, also the problem can be separation claws in cassette ( metal claws that holds the paper ). From experience, the probably is sensor flapper or pick up clutch the problem.

Hope that helps!

HP printer giving me out of paper error, on the box that says documents in queue, even with plenty of paper in, how can I fix it

Most likely there is a problem with the paper sensor or the pick up roller. Does your printer try loading the paper at all? If it does, check and see if the pickup roller has enough friction to pickup up the paper. What model is your printer anyway?

NP6050 false paper jam at doc feeder

When you put documents in the feeder and you push start do you see 2 black arms swing out to count the number of orignals? If yes, dose the doc tray begin to go down and then jams? If yes, you can try something.... OK, turn the copier off and move the 2 paper guides of the doc tray toward the middle. You need a #2 philip's head screw driver. Remove the 2 silver screws that will be sunk in a bit on the top of the doc tray. Once you remove the screws, remove the top part of the doc tray and you will have one connector toward the front. Unplug it and replug it back in and see if that works, if so return the 2 screws and you should be OK.

Paper Jam error

print_friendly.gif null.gif null.gif null.gif null.gif How to Resolve Paper Jams ID:894 null.gif null.gif null.gif
If the paper is lodged too far into the printer and can't be removed:
  1. Press the power button to turn the printer off.
  2. Pull firmly on the paper to remove it. If you can't reach the paper because it is too far in, raise the front cover and remove the paper from the front of the printer.
  3. Close the front cover.
  4. Press the power button to turn the printer back on.
  5. Resend your document to print.
Ensure that:
  • The paper is a recommended paper for inkjet printers.
  • You do not force the paper down into the printer when you load it. For example, if you are loading letter or A4 size paper, the top edge of the paper should extend above the top of the sheet feeder.
  • The printer is on a flat, level surface.
  • The left paper guide is against the side of the paper.
  • You do not load too much paper in the sheet feeder. Depending on the thickness of your paper, the sheet feeder can hold up to 100 sheets of paper.
  • The left paper guide does not cause the paper to bend in the sheet feeder.
  • Your printer feeds regular paper as expected. If regular paper feeds without causing problems, load the envelopes vertically against the right side of the sheet feeder. Make sure the paper guide is against the side of the envelopes.
  • Envelopes or the appropriate specialty papers are selected in the printer driver.
  • You are using a paper or envelope size supported by your printer.
Important: Your application may not be designed to print envelopes. For help, consult the documentation that accompanied your application.
