DVD recorder will not read

The motor in the players tend to dry out and quit spinning as fast as required. Open it up and place 1-2 drops of Anti-Friction oil into the top hole of the motor. I use prolong multi-purpose precision oil it works the best. Put it back together and let it run for a bit. It might take a bit for the oil to penetrate but it will work. Just don't add more oil.
