after remove the e drive and fix it to its machine.

Groaning noise

Check the wheel bearings, or have them checked, immediately. This is the most likely cause of the groaning sound you are hearing, and if left uncorrected, it can cause serious problems, possibly leading to further mechanical damage to the car, or even an accident.

I get a knocking when i turn on my computer

Sounds like your dealing with a lose component here. Sounds like maybe a fan is going out or the hard drive is knocking making noise. It works however I would take it apart carefully if you know what your doing if not take it in and get it looked at. It may be something really simple a loose screw hold down something. I have heard hard drives make a load type noise before they go out. Something is not right that is for sure. Inspect it before something serious happens. Have it done if you do not know how to do this. John

The screen color started flashing funny. I turned the TV off. When I turned it back on, it makes a horrible groaning almost grinding noise, on and off, then finally stops trying to do what ever it's trying...

This tv have a colors wheel,it dying, now it dead.Colors flashes black&white and grinding noises, the colors wheel was spinning off of it motor axis and rubbing it sides wall. The colors wheel, now require changing to make the tv work again. The colors wheel it pretty hard to replaced, because it require take out many machanicals parts even can get to the colors wheel to replaced it.Best it to hire a tv tech. to do the job.If u never done or change anythings, that require take out alots and many machanicals parts before.

Is it an external drive?

If it is, open the external hard drive cover, remove the hard disk inside, and fix it back. Try again and let's see what happens.

If it still does not work, insert the external drive into the computer, feel the hard drive if it spins/vibrate from inside or if it makes a cracking noise.

If it spins/vibrate, it means the hard disk is still working. In that case, you have to get another external drive case/cover.

But if it makes cracking noise, then it means the hard drive is damaged and you need to get another one.

Lastly, if its not an external drive, the same applies because, its still all about hard drive.

I wish you all the best.

It keeps making funny nosies and won't turn on...

The 'funny' noise would clicking or spinning 'seeking' noises made by your player trying to read its micro Hard Disk in order to start: this is usually indicates that you have a faulty internal disk drive which may have been caused by accidental mis-handling (eg. accidentally dropping or sudden movement while writing to the player).

Hard drive clicking

Hi dsthrasher,

Anything making a clicking sound in your pc is a bad sign. it means that there are lose parts or somethings rubbing where it shouldn't be. I would recommend that you backup your data onto cd, dvd or an internet data storage a soon as possible. If it is the hardrive that is clicking that means it doesnt have much life left in it and even if they did last forever its a great idea to have a recent backup.

Also make sure its the hardrive and not the fan. cause if the fans malfunctioning more serious problems can occur.
