Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional

Sound driver some so called computer guy cleaned my hard drive and in the process install some realtek 97 sound drive. Well it does not work so i deleted and now i would like to download one but dont know which one can you help

    What is the make and model of your motherboard (or sound card, if not built into the motherboard)? This will help me or anyone else direct you toward the correct drivers.

My computer produces bo sound it says no via AC97 chipset is not found

Help no audio in vista


your audio drivers are either nor installed or not working. Go to Control Panel --> Hardware and Sound --> Device Manager, and look under Sound, video and game controllers.

What is the exact Brand & Model # for PC? if you can find that out go directly to your Manufactures website and look under a link called Support/Download Drivers. This should help u find the exact audio drivers for that PC.
