LG blue ray won't play sound from RCA sound bar. HDMI cable is hooked into HDMi slot on TV

the details you provided were very vague, however from my experience when a device is connected to another device via and audio capable hdmi cable, that device renders it audio output to the device its connected to and normally turn off all other audio outputs beside optical- I would assume there is an option in the blue ray player to turn off hdmi audio, which will in turn activate other audio outputs- you may also look for audio out port on your tv, it is ideal to connect the sound bar directly to the tv set audio out ports. To sum this up,
if you plan to use your player via hdmi cable you need to turn off hdmi audio output on the blue ray player and the plug an audio cable from your blue-ray player to your sound bar
you may also as i said connect your sound bar directly to your tv, the issue is most tv sets now a days do not have an audio out port, if you do then everything you play thru your tv will have audio via sound bar
there are several way to go here but unless your sound bar has hdmi av switching capabilities (im sure not) this is one of the most simple--Good Luck.

My computers audio works on itunes, media player etc. But it doesn't work when i try to play audio through any type of web browser.

If you are playing a video or something else through your browser, most times the video or audio playing through browser has its own volume control located on the player. Locate it and turn up the volume.

How to download music from computer to my philips gogear audio player

Transfer music via Windows Media Player 10:
  1. Hook up your GoGear to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
  2. Plug your GoGear into a power outlet with the supplied AC adapter/charger.
  3. Launch Windows Media Player 10.

Note: Once the device is connected to the computer, all audio or radio playback will stop.
  4. Check and make sure that the Create folder hierachy on device option is enabled in Windows Media Player. Go to Tools>Options. Select the Devices tab and then highlight GoGear Audio and click Properties

  5. Click "OK" to close the windows.
  6. Click the "Sync" tab.
  7. In the "Items to Copy" pane, from the drop-down list, click the playlist, category, or other item that you want to copy.
  8. Click the check boxes next to any files you want to copy.
  9. In the "Items on Device" pane, from the drop-down list, click on PhilipsGoGear for where to copy files to.
  10. Click the "Start Sync" button.
  11. The Player verifies that there is sufficient storage space on the device to copy the selected files. If there is sufficient space, the files are converted (if necessary) and copied to the portable device.
  12. Repeat steps 2-5 for any other items that you want to copy to your portable device.
  13. Once the transfer is completed, close Windows Media Player.
  14. Unplug the GoGear from the PC and enjoy the music on your GoGear.
Transfer music via Windows Explorer:
Note! You cannot transfer pictures via Windows Explorer, for pictures you need to sync them using Windows Media Player.
  1. Connect your GoGear to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
  2. Connect your GoGear into a power outlet with the supplied AC adapter/charger.
  3. Launch Windows Explorer.
  4. Drag and drop your music files into the Media/Music folder of your GoGear.

  5. Once your music has been transferred to your GoGear disconnect it from your computer and you are ready to listen to your music.

Hi, I want a usb charger for my philipsGoGear SA3245 4GB MP3 player?where do i get it from and also some accesorries for the player.I would like to have a charger so that i can charge when i cannot access...

They are sold by Fox International - if you call Philips, they will also direct you to Fox International. The easiest method is to purchase the USB charger directly from Philips website - you can avoid much hold time and hassle.

No audio

Mine does that too. I've noticed that the audio works fine if I play an audio CD. It seems to "reset" something. But then after I turn off the DVD player, it's **** shoot whether or not I'll get any audio the next time I turn it on.
