Ok here's a story for you, last year in the summer of 07 i bought a Alpine cd player for my car. Everything worked great, until..........during Christmas my car was broken into at my house. My cd player was thrown into the grass about 50 feet from my car, on the grass. Ever since this situation, my cd player skips all cd's when ever i go over a small to large bump. What can i do to fix what the problem is. Buying a new cd player is out of the question considering i am going to get rid of the car and get a new one. But i want to be able to play cd's....... What can i do!!!

i'm sorry to tell you that the only solution is to go to a specialist to fix your CD player cause the mechanics of your laser sense or your laser sense is defficient. you can't do anithing by yourself.
maybe try to clean up your laser sense with a clean up CD, but i don't think that solves the problem
sorry for the bad news
