How do i send pictures to my computer from my phone? my phone is a samsung mythic and it comes with a usb cord and a disk and i did all that...nothing happened. what do i do? i really want my photos on my...

Hello,

I think you need a detailed step by step guide to assist you with the task before you i.e transferring photos from you phone to your laptop.
Below is a detailed solution to your problem;
STEP 1.

Most mobile phones nowadays come standard with a USB data transfer cable and bundled software utility. Check the box that your mobile phone came with for the cable and CD-Rom. If not provided with the software, it may be available as a free download from the manufacturer’s website.
STEP 2.

Once you have located your software CD, check the system requirements necessary to run the software such as hardware specifications, operating systems supported etc. Install the software following on-screen instructions, but do not plug in the USB data cable or phone in just yet, unless the software requests you to do so during the installation process.

STEP 3.

Once the installation is complete, the software would usually require a reboot of the PC before plugging in the mobile phone for the first time. Then connect your mobile phone to the data, and the cable to the USB port of your PC. Several phones may display a message on the mobile display that the phone is now connected to the PC, but if not don’t worry just yet!

STEP 4.

Once connected, start up your mobile phone’s software, and browse through the interface. Most manufacturers offer some form of phone browser where you can browse through the content on your phone, copying files onto, or taking files off the mobile. The software utility may also offer a separate tool for transferring photos and video shot with your mobile, if this is the case use the utility!

STEP 5
.Use the software’s browser or photo utility to transfer your photographs to your PC. Some software tools provide image editing tools as well that will enable cropping, rotation, and sharpening of images once transferred to you PC. Don’t be afraid of referring to the software’s help file incase you get stuck.
The above guide will be of great help to you,as a note of warning;Remember never to unplug or disconnect the data cable from the phone during a data transfer or you could end up damaging your phone or loosing all your data.
Please rate the solution, if helpful.

Take care.

I cant upload my photos to my pc

hi friend
here are several ways to transfer mobile phone photos onto your PC, ranging from, emailing them using GPRS, Bluetooth file transfers, Infrared file transfer, using MMS service, using a card reader or simply using a data cable. VideoJug themselves even have a film on the subject, but this guide will address transferring photographs to your PC using the manufacturer supplied data-cable and software.
  1. Step 1: Check To See If You Have The data Cable And SoftwareMost mobile phones nowadays come standard with a USB data transfer cable and bundled software utility. Check the box that your mobile phone came with for the cable and CD-Rom. If not provided with the software, it may be available as a free download from the manufacturer’s website. 4. Step 3: Connect Your Mobile Phone To The PC Using The Data CableOnce the installation is complete, the software would usually require a reboot of the PC before plugging in the mobile phone for the first time. 8. 1px.gif As phone models and manufacturers vary, it is always a good practice to read through the mobile phone user manual and the software's help or readme file while using this guide. It is also always good practice to use the backup function of the software first to ensure you can restore your phone back to its original state should anything happen to it.

Samsung PC Studio 3 will not recognise my new phone connecting to my pc by usb cable

-OK...when you download the PC Studio software, be sure to save it to your computer first and then open it from your computer, this way if anything goes wrong you can always reinstall it. Alright, make sure the phone is NOT connected via USB during the download of the software. Next, go into your phone menu under 'Settings' then select 'Phone Settings' -go to 'USB Settings, usually there are 2 modes 'Mass Storage' and 'Modem'. Your phone needs to be set to modem in order to serve as a modem, you can use mass storage mode if you just want to sync up your files (pictures, music, etc) with your pc. You'll also want to make sure that your provider has the internet setup for you to use your phone as a modem.

and if you have already installed in prior to reading this, you will need to uninstall the program and begin again with the steps above. I hope this helps.
