Question about LG LMV2055ST Microwave Oven
We have had our LG 2055ST for less than a year. Yesterday I was heating up a beverage (which normally would be fine after 40 seconds and when I took it out, it was still cold.. I feel that when I want to heat something I need to do it double the time. So instead of heating up a slice of pizza for 2 minutes , I have to do it for 4 minutes.
are there any suggestions before I call customer service?
The first thing to try is a "hard reset". Unplug it from the power line for a few minutes, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.
If that doesn't do it, and your line voltage is right, then I would say your magnetron is dying.
Slow is heat is a typical symptom of magnetron failure.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
