No am/fm signal on my in dash clarion cd player

What you might want to do is check your antena. The inexpensive to way to check: Get a piece of wire about two feet long. Expose about an inch of wire. Remove the antena from the back of the radio. Use the above wire and insert into the antena port. Hang the reminder of the wire up so that it can receive a signal. If this works then you have a bad antena. If you have the same problem, the problem is internal and will probably have to be taken to a service location.

Display not working

Hi and thank you for using fixya:
Please check the connections on the back on the radio to see if there is any loose connection. Your screen might be done for its life time.
Good luck. Hope your screen comes back

2008 Nissan Altima radio (AM/FM/CD) does not respond to buttons except on/off volume. It was playing an FM station (cant't tune/scan) and now plays a CD that won't eject.

2008 Altima radio-the sound just quit working. Everything else seems to be OK. I can change the radio stations, but no sound. Is there a fuse that could be bad?

I have a Clarion installed in my boat. Sirrius, cd am fm. No jack to plug in iPod. Solution?

FM Modulator.

(clarion makes a hardwire direct connect one)

FM200

You would use a 3.5mm to RCA adapter

There are also battery powerd ones (Belkin)

Either one is used by simply tuning in to an empty (white noise) radio station.

Im assuming the XMD3-RET is not the radio you are inquiring about since you described Sirius as a feature.

Some clarion radios have an AUX input or changer port that can be converted to an ipod cable.

If you reply with a model # i can look it up for you. I am a Clarion Dealer.

CD PLAYER IN boat says ACCS and does not work, i have power and i checked the fuse's all working but the screen reads ACCS and i cannot remember how i fixed it the first time this went wrong,

OK, so I spoke with a Claion reseller and they were very nice and helpful. ACCS mode is accesory mode. This can happen if the brown wire in the back touches ground or the case on the radio. If it is not, tap the brown wire on the yellow(hot) wire and that takes it out of that mode. I tried it and it worked. Good luck! And thanks Clarion for your support on my 3 year old radio!
