if you mean that you cant get any sound on your computer control panel sounds and audio, volume you can adjust the volume or advanced, speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the right speakers or control panel, administrive tools, computer management, device manager scroll to sound, video and game cotrollers could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers hope this helps
I have this exact same mobotherboard. Did you install the chipset drivers? You need to download and install the nforce3 chipset driver. It includes the nic driver and all other things you're probably missing besides video and sound.
I should tell you that my onboard NIC had problems on this motherboard. Sometimes it would lose connection, sometimes it would make my pc take 5 minutes to boot up when the cable was plugged in or just crash my computer.
I just use a PCI nic now. But you'll want to install that driver anyway. If you use a PCI nic, then go to Control Panel, Network Connections and right click the nforce nic and click Disable.
try checking if its conencted properly. have you tried using a different RAM on it? if the different RAM chip worked then your DIMM is broken, if not still, it must be your motherboard that has the problem.
