Hi core2

To reset to the Factory settings you could just reset it normally in the User Menu.

To reset the Lamp Timer - Hold in the up arrow key on the Projector for a couple of seconds and then follow the on-screen instructions by pressing the Menu or Auto button to do the reset.

If there is a password that needs resetting it will give you a code made up out of four sections of digits that you could post to me on here and I will send you the decoding for this.

Need to decode recall number 22040 14770 7161 9379 problem:

Hi,
Press and hold right for 5 seconds the projector will display a coded number on the screen then seek help from benq service center to decode the number.
If you still face the problem , the password code will be saved in the memory running over(usually in the shape of a watch battery about the size of a ten pence piece, you could locate this and take it out and this should reset any passwords ) turn off power before opening the unit .

Hope this helps .

When I turn on the radio it tell me to wait how do I reset radio?

Leave SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automaticall reset itself

It may take several hours.

Make sure you have the correct code..If not then see below
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)

To see if your code is available here  for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .

If not then POST A BRAND  NEW  QUESTION

quoting the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on ANY LABELS ,BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING

Also quote the MAKE of CAR

note: Unfortunately not all radios can be decoded using the Serial Number

Otherwise try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive

Hi i need a radio code for a rover 200 phillips the s/n etched on the side is RG594FX1100463 thank you

Please check your Serial Number again to make sure it is correct.

If it is correct  , then unfortunately   your  code will not be available for free (or cheap)  from anywhere on the Internet as this Serial Number is not in the available PHILIPS database.

It requires access to the original manufacturer`s database which is only available from your Main Dealer .(and a few of the larger Professional Radio Decode Specialists)

Otherwise try  a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will electronically "read "/ recode the memory chip (EEPROM) using a laptop and specialist software.
