Question about Projection Televisions

1 Answer

About 5 weeks ago, my 42" sanyo hdtv seemed to drop an octave or so, on all channels and when using a dvd... Yesterday it developed a "Vibratto", almost like a Reverb Channel on my amplifier.. Is there an easy fix, or do I have to return this to Walmart under a three year warranty.. Purchased 7/18/07 Ray English

I would let them know that you need the set repaired or exchanged under the warranty. because if you remove the rear cover you will void your warranty

These units are close enough to the warranty end period that I would suggest that you contact Sanyo and Sony requesting warranty service. Talk to a supervisor and be persistant. It may take a few calls.
Keep us posted.

Defective light engine. Contact Sony support. They warrantied a lot of these sets even after the warranty had expired because of so many going bad after 3-4 yrs. Have the complete model and serial number ready when you call them.
