Question about Vev Vigano Kontessa Inox 6-Cup Espresso Machine

1 Answer

Mine just started to leak

Out of the blue, and so I changed the rubber gasket, but it's still leaking
It's the 6-cup Kontessa
Any ideas why?
Thank you

Call this number and ask for Heather - she's very helpful:

    800-345-8945

My pot started leaking out of the blue - could be you're using too fine a grind, or that the gasket is old. or that the gasket / filter is not put together porperly.

But call Heather to be sure.

Keurig leaking from bottom

Check the Upper Rubber Gasket (fits around the top puncture pin). If it missing you will have leakage because here's no seal to protect leakage. You can buy it online or call Keurig Customer Service (if you still have warranty)
OR:
Upper Rubber Gasket not making a seal with the K-Cup or Reusable Filter and the water and/or coffee grounds leak out. To fix it simply move Upper Rubber Gasket 1/4" down. This should close the gap between K-Cup and upper needle.

My Waring Pro Coffee maker leaks water out of the bottom. In the morning when I get in I have to clean up the leak. Is this repairable?

When you pour water into the screen area it travels toward the back of the unit and drops through a rubber gasket/cup to be heated/processed. I have the same problem and while I bought another WC1000 I took my old one apart. By turning it over and removing 4 recessed screws you can carefully lift the top off (carefully because wiring is attached). However, you can now access the rubber gasket/cup. Doing this I found that mine was torn which I must assume is the cause of the leaking problem. Now if anyone knows where I can get a replacement rubber gasket/cup or a part number I would appreciate it.

Good evening! I have received the  Kontessa  Vev Vigano  12 cup from my family  but I don't have an  instruction book with it..  is there a  place where I can download  some simple instructions as to how...

You could use any Bialetti or Vev Vigano instructions created for aluminum pots. I have a 6 cup Vev Vigano Kontessa Inox, but the instructions that came with it were standard. Remember to use correct measurement of water and coffee. Coffee grind should be espresso. I don't know about 12 cup, but assuming that it's double of the 6 cup size, I use 9 oz of water and 6 tablespoons of espresso grind. You could go to www.vev-vigano.com. Their customer service is pretty efficient. Even if you didn't buy your pot from them, they'll reply usually within 24 hours. Good luck.

I need a new funnel for my vev vigano kontessa 6 cup stove top espresso

Usually most stove top espresso makers manufacture these parts to the same standard. Take your old funnel, go to a kitchen store where they sell Bialetti, and compare their funnel size to your funnel size (for the same size put). I noticed that usually, it's the rubber gaskets that may differ slightly. Or you could email customer service of www.vev-vigano.com.
