-   My DVM is missing on my RP5120; I may have accidentally formated it before downloading the DVM on my computer. Although the instructions say that the DVM software can be downloaded from the RCA site, I have yet to find that download.-   Guest

-   Somehow I managed to format the RP5120 before connecting it to my computer and now the DVM SetUp is missing. The RCA site listed does not help AT ALL!!-   tjamesk

My Yamaha RX-V2700 shuts off intermittently. The unit has been back to an authorized Yamaha repair depot three times. The first time back the technician said that the problem was a thermal sensor, which was replaced. That did not solve the problem. The second time back, the technician said that there was nothing wrong and I took the receiver home only to have it fail repeatedly, again. The third time back, the technician said that DC was appearing on all of the amplifier outputs and that all of the output transistors had to be replaced. That did not solve the problem and the amplifier still shuts down. Sometimes within a few minutes and sometimes within a few hours. The problem does not seem to depend upon the loudspeakers, or when or how they are connected. I have tried ultra-short speaker leads and banana plugs to avoid short circuits. I have tried fewer speakers and more speakers. Thanks.

Hi. Ever since we ran the speaker wires under the floor (but above the garage)...the sound is on for while...then is gone...comes back then gone....doesn't matter whether it's a movie or playing music. My husband thinks running the wires was a coincidence. What can I try? Worth taking in to repair? Or time to buy a new one? Thank you.

Left side speaker(s) only work on 'CD Direct' setting. Video 1 and Video 2 / AUX do not work at all. Left side speakers do work on 'CD Direct setting, but do not work on 'Phono', 'AM', 'FM' or other settings.
