If you let me know what the specific camera model is, I can see if this is a common problem. I think it is either a battery or power protection problem. Try removing the battery and putting it back in to see if it will work.

Does the lens extend when it opens, and was there anything that you did that may suggest why it started doing this, have you dropped it or anything?

Please update me on this

Hi, are you using powerfull batterys like lithium as any other battery will cause the problem your having.
If the battery you are using is rechargable then the chances are this will need replacing as they tend to fail after certain amount of use.
The use of normal batterys just isnt strong enough to power digital cameras so check your using high power batterys and if rechargable then buy a replacement battery as this sounds like the cause of your problem

When I turn my camera on to view pictures, the red light on the camera in the bottom right corner stays on and I'm not able to view my pictures on my memory card. Can you help me identify the problem?

If one card works and the other doesn't then it sounds like you have a defective SD card. Nothing you can do about this but buy another one and toss it.

This is why you should backup all your photos off the camera and onto permanent storage media.

What does the battery icon show? If it shows an almost depleted battery the camera will only let you take one picture, then disable it from taking any more.
It's possible the battery won't hold a charge, so you should consider testing the camera further using an external charger or getting a new battery.

My computer is not showing when my camera is plugged in

Make sure the camera is turned on, plug the USB cable into your PC first, then into the camera, wait for a beep from your PC to show it has recognized the hookup, then go to "My Computer" and look for the Fuji icon. Don't unplug the camera anytime the lights are flashing on it.

Kodak CX7330. turns on but LCD screen is black and won't take a pic

It sounds like a bad connection on the ribbon cable of the LCD screen to the camera's motherboard. The fact that when you physically move the camera around and you can get the screen to then work, tells me something is loose inside.

Good luck!

Turn on camera and set date and time shows up

Take your camera apart and put a piece of electrical tape over the center button (ok) on the menu.
Worked just fine for me after that.
