I have an H4 error. What is it and how do I fix it?


H4 is a fuser heat failure. Most commonly this code occurs as a false code meaning there is really no problem. This is true in about 75% of cases. I have a tip posted here on fixya to help people with this problem. I have listed the link here for your convenience.

I have changed the fuser unit in a okidata c9300 and still getting a 174 fatal error. how cani i fix this problem?


First of all unplug the printer from the mains (safety first). Get the toner out again and check for dirt on the contacts. Also check the contacts inside the printer itself.

I was under the impression that she did respond to your post here as she has responded to my headsup.

Might I suggest that you:
Signin back to FixYa;
view/go to the Chat Session Transcript;
somewhere down the bottom would be "Post a Comment..." right below the "Print Session"
thereafter, the system would post both of your responses and seemingly continue the Chat though with some time delay.

Printer is not printing at all.


use only original cartridges. that will resolve the issue. nowadays companies are resorting to these tricks, that if you use generic/refilled cartridges, the printer wont work.

Epson CX6600 lines on standard color printing


See my previous posts about intensive underhead cleaning. If the standard cleaning cycle in the printer driver/control panel does not clear the nozzles then following the info in previous posts about underhead cleaning should get you going again.

C43sx both lights on


If your PC is connecting to it normally (no connection errors), it sounds like you printer is having the service reset hardware problem. Try installing the EPSON reset software and check all counters and error codes.
