If you live a good distance from the TV station you may need a better antenna. Did you do a channel search on the converter box? You'll need the remote for the converter box to change channels, not the TV's remote.
U should have a menu button on your tv.If so try to find the channel setup option if you find this you should b able to manually go through your channels to add & delete the channels you want.If not you will have to go out a buy a universal remote.Make sure that it is compatibl to your tv.They should be a list on the back of the remotes pack stating all the brands that the remote is compatible with.I think you should be able to get one for unde 5 dollars.in the pack it should have an instruction manual.some tvs u can set up very easily & some you might have to keep putting in different codes until it works.Hole this could be some help to you.Good luck.
you can do this without a remote if you have a menu button on the tv you can fix it from there. if no menu button the press the channel up and down buttons at the same time and the menu will appear. if you can not find the tv code for the remote(IF its a universal remote) then you dont need the code you just follow the steps to enter the code But dont enter a code just keep pressing the channel up button on the remote until it turns the channel on the tv when it does STOP hit the enter/ok or similar button on the remote a your remote will work like new on your tv.Hope this helps you out or atleast gives you an idea.Best of luck to you!!!! Good day
All you have to do is follow all the steps to enter the code and when you get to the point of entering the code (DONT) just press the channel up button repeatedly but at a slow pace the remote will eventually change the channel on your tv (Tv has to be on) when it changes (STOP) and press the enter/ok, or similar button and that will lock in the code and vwalla you dont have to get up and change the station again.and if it messes up again the follow the same steps and it will fix it again.Good Luck too you.If you follow the instructions this will take you through all the tv codes that the remote has stored and eventually the code for your tv.
Push in and hold code search button until it stays lit, then pushed the
TV button, it flashes quickly. Then hit the number zero once, then hit
channel up button until tv finally changes channel. Hit the mute button
once to get it to store the code.
