Question about Hoover U6437-900 / U6439-900 Windtunnel Bagged Upright Vacuum
I am on my second Vacuum in two years and it getsd very limited use as it is only used down in the basement. BOTH had the same problem....the switch in the handle will not activate the on/off switch. When I look at the design I keep thinking, there has to be a better system??
Any ideas or any sort of adjustments or modifications I can make to eliminate this problem?
Not sure how you respond, but my e-mail address is: g,email@example.com
Had the same problem and found that the interior switch was to stiff and the plastic activator would just pass over it. Solution was to pull the three screws that ho;d the activator switch, pull the interior switch and replace it. This is a lot easier than it sounds.
