Question about HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Old machine, I am just using it as a copier, everytime I replace the ink cartrige it has a problem that seems to fix itself overnight. this time it won't fix. It says scanner failer turn off power and restart, I have done this more times than I can count over two weeks, It still says it and wont clear!!!!
This issue seems with the scanner mechanism of the all-in-one. Once try to make a copy and check the result, of it still says scanner failure, then connect the all-in-one directly to walloutlet and then power cycle the all-in-one and then reset.

Maybe there is fault in the software and will need a re installation. so remove your printer from the PC and un-install the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Use head cleaning before a test is taken . It is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the command , can be an issue with ink drying , can also be poor ink cartridge contacts
