Question about Microsoft Zune JS8-00001 Digital Media Player
I have a problem with my Zune that use to work but I left it outside. I tried to charge it but it just flashes the Zune symbol when I plug it in. I figured that if it were fried, it wouldn't get that far. Would this be accurate? How can I fix it?
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If this fails, then there is a hardware issue that cannot be resolved without replacement.
